| Founded in 1964 by Jay Gerish, the Jay Gerish Co. is a large importer/exporter of straw hat bodies, fur felt hat bodies, straw hats and winter hats. From our beginnings until 1982, the Jay Gerish Co. was a hat manufacturer. We find that our past manufacturing experience enables us to better assist our customers.
Our 35,000 square feet of warehouse space, located
in West Caldwell, New Jersey, is sufficiently stocked to provide immediate
delivery of merchandise.

In 1970 we began importing straw hat bodies and in
1975 we established our straw importing relations with the Peoples Republic
of China. Besides straws, we also import a large selection of fur felt
hat bodies from Europe.
After 35 years of being in the hat business, the Jay
Gerish Co. continues to be a family owned and operated establishment.
We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best quality straw
and fur felt hat products. In addition, we regularly carry large inventories of overrun and closeout items. |
